The organ at Rémering-les-Puttelange is the result of a project drawn up by the French organist François Menissier. The instrument was made entirely following the methods and techniques practised by the builder Verschneider-Krempf, whose firm was installed in the town in the nineteenth century. Everything inside the case has been copied from existing instruments by the same builder.
The work was carried out by a team of three builders, including Freddy Bauer, Laurent Plet and Jean-Baptiste Gaupillat. |
